| The Rienzi Baptist Church was
completely destroyed but contrary to the newspaper account, the rostrum was still standing
with the Bible on it, as seen in this photo. Does anyone have a copy of this picture
WITHOUT the water ring on it? And can anyone identify those in this picture?

E.M Perry, Jr.'s Building The estimated damage to this 2 story block building was $2,000. The building, still stands on the northeast corner of Main and Front Streets . Owned by Jerold and Pauline Nash, it is the home of Ceramics by Design Inc. |

J.D. Furtick and Son sustained losses estimated at $5,000. This building stood across the street from what is now Smith Drug's on the south side of Main Street. | |
The storm demolished the Curlee Hardware Store with damages at $5,000. This picture was taken south of the 4 way stop looking north up Front Street. Hope to have someone identify the other buildings in this picture. |
